Hi my name is Caroline Schenck and I graduated from Fancy Dancer in the spring of 2021. I am currently a freshman at Valdosta State University pursuing a career in Accounting. I am also a part of the Red Hots Dance team where I dance at football games, basketball games and compete at the national championship for cheer and dance. Fancy Dancer means more than the world to me. Most importantly Fancy Dancer means family. I knew everyone at my studio were family and had my back no matter what! I could talk to any of them about anything. The support at that studio was overwhelming for everything that we did from competing to just taking class. Every teacher and assistant made sure that you felt loved and that you were improving each day. The environment was always positive each day and when I came in I knew immediately my mood was going to change for the good. This place means more to me than anyone will ever know. I was lucky to be apart of this amazing studio and family. I love my FD family! Some advice that I could give to current students right now is don’t take the time you have there for granted. It goes by so fast and you will miss it more than the world. Also talk to the girls or even boys sitting beside you in class they could turn into your best friends forever. Most importantly, HAVE FUN!!

Hey! My name is Leah Foskey and I graduated from Fancy Dancer the spring 2021. I am currently attending the University of Georgia and majoring in accounting. I currently am a part of the University of Georgia -Georgettes and Dance Dawgs dance team. Fancy Dancer has and always will hold a very special place in my heart. It was my home away from for 15 years and with that came best friends; more like family, I could have ever imagined. I would like to tell each one of the dancers to continue to push their abilities to be the best version of themselves you can be, because there is not a limit on how much you can grow or what you can achieve. Never let any award define you but instead let it drive you to work harder, step out of your comfort zone, take chances and follow your dreams. |
Hey! My name is Hannah Smith and i graduated from Fancy Dancer in 2015
I received my Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with Summa Cum Laude, University Honors, and Southern Leaders Graduate from Georgia Southern University in May 2020. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and Design at Florida State University. I serve as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate classes in the program. I am conducting research on what I am most passionate about which is the universe and spacecraft design. I am also completing a project of the Renovation of the International Space Station. My dream career is to be a Spacecraft Interior Designer for NASA or SpaceX when I graduate. Fancy Dancer set a foundation of discipline for me as I loved to be involved at school and in my community. Being a company member taught me a lot of responsibility, time management skills, continues to keep me in shape today, and allowed me to be who I truly am. Never let anyone tell you that you can’t do it all. You can do anything you put your mind to. Work hard each and every day, and I promise it will be very rewarding and pay off. Reach for the stars. The sky is the limit. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel |
Hi my name is Emma Kate Williams and I graduated in 2021 and I am currently at the University of Georgia pursuing a major in Exercise and Sports Science and a member of the sorority Zeta Tau Alpha where I have become a part of the executive committee. Fancy Dancer means so much to be and has helped bring me to the point where I am at today. Mrs. Abby and the rest of the teachers and staff at Fancy Dancer have taught me so many life lessons that I continue to use every single day. I am thankful for the opportunities to grow in leadership, time management and poise. While at fancy dance I learned how to celebrate others. I learned perseverance and saw many benefits of working hard towards my goals. I encourage all the current dancers to take in every single moment you are at that studio because, as cheesy as it sounds, it will go by way too fast! I will forever be so thankful for my many years at Fancy Dancer, especially for Mrs. Abby and all that she has done, not only for the studio but for me as an individual as well. I love you Mrs. Abby!! ❤️

My name is Emma Leigh, and I am graduating from Trinity Christian School. In the fall, I will be attending Middle Georgia State University at their local campus here in Dublin. Afterwards, I will transfer to another college to pursue a major in accounting so that I may eventually return to Dublin as a financial auditor at one of our local banks.
Now, I have been dancing at Fancy Dancer since I was 4 years old. For a couple of years during middle school, I danced competitively with the studio, but I later found that I would much rather help out at the studio as a Pro Assistant. Because of this job, my life has truly been changed because of Mrs. Abby giving me this special opportunity, and I will forever be grateful for it! As I leave the stage one final time tonight, I can only hope that all my friends and family, as well as my Fancy Dancer family, will remember all the best memories that I have made with them! I know I do not say it often, but I truly love each and everyone of you guys and will remember each one of you as I move on to my next chapter in life! |

Hi my name is Elizabeth Woodfin and I Graduated Fancy Dancer in 2012! I got a BFA in Dance from Valdosta State University. I am teaching dance at A Step Above Dance Company in Perry. I bounced around studios before Fancy Dancer. But it was there, under Ms. Abby’s instruction that I really began my dance education. To the girls who are dancing there now, soak up everything and do all that you can. Never miss an opportunity.

Hey! My name is Kyley Jarrard and I Graduated Fancy Dancer in the Spring of 2020. I am currently a Senior at Georgia Southern University obtaining a degree in exercise science in hopes to then obtain a degree as a physician's assistant. I am currently a part of Georgia Southern Dance team where I serve as the President of my team! We perform at our homecoming football game each year, all of the men's basketball games, and the compete at the national championship for cheer and dance in Daytona Beach Florida every spring. If it was not for Fancy Dancer, I would not be the dancer I am today, who I am today, or where I am today. My amazing teachers taught me how to never give up even when things are tough, to ALWAYS do my best , and to always reach for my dreams. They always believed in me even when I did not believe in myself, and here I am now a proud member of the Georgia Southern Dance team and could not be any more thankful for the amazing opportunity. Fancy Dancer truly was my home away from home where I was transformed through sweat, laughs, tears, and so much joy to become the dancer I am today! For my younger girls, never ever give up on your goals and dreams that you have set for yourself. You have a creator that already has your story written out and has the most perfect plan for you. Always shine bright and be a light for those around you, and Jesus will bless you and take you exactly through the journey he has created for you. As someone who graduated the year covid hit, the biggest advice I can give you is never take anything for granted. It truly made me realize what a gift dance is and how special it is to be able to express yourself through such a beautiful piece of art. Never forget to always believe in yourself and have the confidence that you are capable over any and everything you put your mind to and don't forget to always do it with a SMILE on your face!!
