Meet Our Teachers
ABBY GILDER
OWNER/PERFORMING COMPANY DIRECTOR
Abby is a former student of Fancy Dancer. She graduated from Breanau University with a degree in Dance Education. After graduating, Abby pursued a career performing with Royal Caribbean and later moved to Chicago. While in Chicago, Abby performed in the off-broadway show " Awesome 80's Prom", and taught dance at a local studio. Abby is thrilled to be back in Dublin and giving back to the community that has always been so supportive of her dream.

GILDA LOYD
INSTRUCTOR/COMPANY TAP DIRECTOR
Gilda has been teaching at Fancy Dancer for 8 years. She teaches all of the 3 - 7 year old dancers, as well as all the tap classes. Gilda directs our Tap Company. She began dancing when she was 3 years old and trained under Janice Towns in Alamo, Ga. Gilda has traveled to New York and studied with world renown choreographers and teachers. While under the direction of Mrs. Towns, Gilda went to Myrtle Beach and took part in private classes from teachers/directors/choreographers of the movie "Shag". |

MARIO MITCHELL, HIP HOP INSTRUCTOR
Mario is a 2008 graduate of Dublin High School. He has been teaching hip hop for 2 years at Fancy Dancer. Mario dances locally with friends at different events. Mario will continue teaching this year while attending college. |

JEANNIE GILDER
OFFICE MANAGER
Jeannie is the mother of Abby! She recently retired from 35 years of teaching in the Dublin City School System. Abby has put her to back work! Jeannie is married to Fred Gilder of Glenwood GA and has been around the dance scene for many years following Abby all around the world! She will be at the front desk every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday to assist your child to and from the car and to answer any questions you may have!
